ONU Civil Rights Law Journal call for content

Seeking submissions from professionals involved in civil rights work

By Steph West

The Ohio Northern University Civil Rights Law Journal is accepting submissions for publishing consideration from any professional working in the civil rights space (defined broadly to include its intersection of any other area of law). Professionals who submit may include, but are not limited to, attorneys, professors, civil rights leaders, human rights leaders, law students (from any law school), and journalists.

We’re looking for timely submissions in journalistic and/or digital content creator style. These can include, but are not limited to, journalistic articles (500-1,500 words), editorials, infographics, videos, first-person narratives of civil rights experiences, and/or podcasts — if it’s digital content, we’d love to see it.

We also accept academic articles (10,000 -30,000 words depending on if it’s full-length, essay, or student comment/note) and are open to story suggestions and/or tips.

Content submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis.

Please email the current editor-in-chief Steph West at s-west@onu.edu with your proposed submission, story idea, or tip.
